Meyersville was dispatched to a report of a structure fire on Brown College Ln at 4:09 PM. Upon arrival, crews found a rapidly spreading grass fire threatening a nearby structures. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the fire and mitigate any hazards. Additional fire departments that responded included Washington VFD, Chappell Hill VFD, Salem VFD, and Navasota FD. Washington County EMS and Bluebonnet Electric were also called to the scene.
